Have you seen the movie?

Loved the Hunger Games movie!!!!!!  I am also enjoying comparing the book and movie with students. 

Loving our iPad!  We have studied our vocabulary using the app Storylines, worked on grammar using Sparklefish, spelled words with Word Abacus and PopWords!, put together puzzles with Magic Puzzles, and read books on Kindle and Dark Eden.

Safe and Sound

Getting our IPad!!!!

I am so excited to announce that I have earned my 20th tech buck for our class!  With the tech buck, I have ordered an IPad for our classroom!!!  My class has been anxiously counting my tech buck waiting to have enough to get this great piece of technology.

Barbara Bush came to our room!

Third period had an awesome experience today video conferencing with Barbara Bush!  She read to us and then answered questions from students around the United States and one even from Canada!
